Description:

A challenging scenic ride from Dungog out to Riverwood Downs where there is an excellent cafe with great service. The easier option is an out and back to Riverwood Downs without the loop.

To start ride North down Dowling Street, across the railway line:

1. After crossing the Coorei Bridge continue on to Stroud Hill Road

2. Turn left onto Monkerai Rd

3. Slight right to stay on Monkerai Rd

4. Slight left onto Dixons Cross Rd

5. Continue onto Upper Monkerai Rd

6. Follow Upper Monkerai to Riverwood Downs

7. Return to Dungog either by the same route, or by turning left back on to Upper Monkerai and left again on to Moores Road. The return to Dungog using Moores Road is more challenging.
